Monitor the inside or outside of your vehicle using the 1080p Dash Cam 30 from Garmin. The camera mounts to your windshield using the included mounting adhesive, and it is powered by the car’s battery with the included power cord. Depending on the scenario at hand, you can choose to record in 1080p or 720p video resolutions, each with a 30 fps frame rate. An integrated 1.4″ TFT LCD display enables you to view and playback footage directly on the camera.

Continuously record in a loop as long as the camera is plugged in, and store the recordings on-site using the included 4GB microSD card (microSD slot has a 64GB capacity). In case of an accident, the dash cam’s G-sensor will detect the collision and automatically save related recordings to a separate file so that they are not erased. Furthermore, the camera can take still photographs and can be removed from the windshield for close-up images of an important event.

An included USB cord allows you to connect the camera to your computer for playing back footage on a larger screen. You can also download the company’s Dash Cam Player software for easily viewing and organizing your footage. Recordings have time and date stamps so that they can be searched for or filed away based on point-in-time information. A built-in battery with 30-minute lifespan provides power even when the car is off.
